I am from out of state and visiting my family and will be here for a while and found this very nice shop just down the street from me. I have now gone there three times and received perfect pedicures. Nothing fancy, just the regular pedicure for me, but they do a fine job which includes a hot stone leg massage. Their prices are very reasonable. My only comment for their massage chairs is they should clean the remote controls more often. Read Less

I finally have to write a review for this place because I've given it so many chances to get better, and today was the final visit for me. In general, the polish jobs for the pedicures are always sloppy.... they get polish all over your cuticles and don't clean it up unless you ask. I walked in today, and waited several minutes before the two available staff members looked up from watching their iPhones to ask what service I needed. Their utensils aren't in the standard sanitary bags and look dirty. I had to ask the guy today to get some polish remover and clean up my toes because there was red polish ALL AROUND my nails on my skin. Granted, I can understand one bad pedi, but this place consistently disappoints. Their customer service is lacking, don't greet you, don't even attempt small talk.... just the basics. Too bad.UPDATE: The next morning, one of my cuticles started to bleed and swell. Changed my review to 1 star. Read Less

I've been here 4 times over the last couple of months as a walk in and I've always been greeted warmly right away and haven't had to wait long for service. Henry has been my mani/pedicurist three of the four times and he is great and his work is top notch. The other gentleman was great too (sorry, I forgot his name). I do a lot of gardening and other rough work with my hands and his gel manicures have survived all of the abuse that I've given them. I've had to go back because of my nails growing out, not for chips, etc. I don't know how pricing compares to other salons but I find the pricing reasonable and I tend to be a bit of a tightwad. :) Read Less

Gel-Q Nail & Spa is my favorite nail salon. They give excellent customer service and they squeeze me into the schedule when I need it. Son, Kim and Thu do amazing work. Thu is an excellent and talented lash artist who is detail-oriented, patient, and gentle. She is among the best lash artists and she gives excellent gel manicures as well. Son is a talented acrylics artist who makes nails transform into works of art. Kim is talented with acrylics and gel manicures as well. I love them all. These people are top notch! Read Less

Great pedicures, came here because another salon was too busy to accept anyone else. We were able to sit right away, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Got the pedicure plus which includes the cuticle elimination which was awesome! I've never seen the "cheese grater" before and it worked perfect to get all of the dead skin off. Prices are decent $35 for the pedicure plus but a regular one is $22. Would definitely come back again! :) Read Less

I have been coming to Gel Q Nails for over 6 years now. This is run by an extraordinary family that I call my own. Lisa, Tiffany, Thu and Michael are the owners of this fabulous spa. They are the nicest people I have ever met and I could really go on and on about them. This is a very clean establishment. They also have very loyal employees such as Kim and Sonny. I have never had a bad experience here. I love getting my brows waxed, enjoy pedicures and manicures here. This is also a fun place to take your daughter for a mommy and me mani pedi (which I do quite frequently). I have also watched over the years how professional Gel Q Nails handles customers that are demanding. They resolve problems very calmly and they have never argued with a customer (which I cannot say for some salons). They also try to accommodate everyone during very busy seasons. The pedicure was refreshing and the massage recliner made the experience that much better. Disappointed!I moved to AZ a month ago and wanted to find my "go to" nail salon. I came across Gel-Q. I got a pedicure last Tuesday and today, Thursday, only 9 days later my feet look like I haven't had a pedi for a month. I have chipped paint on all my toes! This is the 2nd time we had a bad experience. They say they have time to do nails and then they basically treat you like how dare. You should have said no when I called. I would rather go to someone who appreciates my business... I get there and took my nail polish and then proceeded to tell me that he needed to go on a smoke break. First he made me wait then He didn't wash his hands and totally reaked of smoke. Gag me!!! Then argued with me about the type of my nails round/square. He painted my nails put me at nail dry spot.. Went here today with my Mom and Sister and it was really a mixed experience. I had a really nice tech who did great work. My sister sat down, the owner started doing her pedi then another client walked in and asked for a fill and he left her in the chair (that didn't even work) to go work on the new client. The new girl she ended up with, Kim was really good and sweet. The older woman who was the rudest person I have ever had at a salon is who my mother was stuck with and she needs a different attitude. My mom kept telling her to stop and it hurt and she would just throw her hands up or huff at her. She would push my moms hands out of the way and just plain rude! When she was done with her pedi, she told my mom "you don't want your nails". Ummm.. yeah she did. And while she was doing my moms nails she kept telling her to put lemon on her hands at night. She couldn't understand that my mom is an artist and that's why her hands are stained. She was beyond rude, my lady was even rolling her eyes. Then, my sister was done an needed to feed my 4 month old nephew before she left. She went to the front in an out of the way place, covered up like she always does and started to feed him. She was then asked by the owner to go to a wax room to feed the baby so she didn't offend anyone. Hello, it's all women who were not even paying attention to her.
