Where is the fuse interior fuse box? ›

Usually, you will find two fuse boxes in the car. One is located under the hood and the other is found in the dashboard or near the steering wheel.

There is a main relay under the dash near the brake pedal. The "relay" for the starter is actually a solenoid on the starter motor itself.

Open the fuse box door. Inspect each fuse using a flashlight to find the one that is burned or melted (the working fuses will have a clear glass casing but the blown one will look cloudy or blackened).
