Speakers

Dr. Andrew Dixonis a Consultant Radiologist and a Director of Radiology Training at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.He has subspecialty expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and neuroradiology. He previously gained private musculoskeletal radiology experienceworking alongside A.Prof David Connell at Imaging at Olympic Park. He is an internationallyrecognizededucator contributing to courses including Radiopaedia'sTrauma Radiology Course,Emergency Radiology CourseandMedical Imaging Anatomy Course.Hisresearch interest is in the use of technology in radiology, including deep learning and social media.

Associate Professor Frank Gaillardis the Founder and Editor in Chief of Radiopaedia.org, which he began in December 2005. He is also a neuroradiologist and Director of Research in the University of Melbourne Department of Radiology of the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia. In addition to his work as a clinical radiologist, he has active research interests in neurodegenerative diseases, imaging of CNStumorsand computer-aided MRI interpretation.

Dr. Jan Gerstenmaieris a Consultant Radiologist at Alfred Health in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Prior to his radiology training, he worked as a resident in the UK and Australia. He completed his radiology specialist training at St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Subsequently, he was a fellow in abdominal imaging at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is a fellow of the Faculty of Radiologists at RCSI, Ireland; the Royal College of Radiologists (UK); and the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiologists. His interests are hepatobiliary and adrenalimaging,and liver tumor ablation.

Dr.Jeremy Jonesis a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, UK and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. He has subspecialty interests inpediatricneuro andpediatricmusculoskeletal imaging. He is Theme Lead for Imaging for MBChB at Edinburgh Medical School and is involved in post-graduate radiology training and lead forpediatricimaging training. He has an interest in IT and sits on the national PACS Governance board for Scotland as well as Chairing the PACS Clinical Advisory Group.

Dr. Yuan Lingis a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Imaging at Olympic Park and the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He has a particular clinical and research interest in sports imaging and soft-tissue injuries. He is amusculoskeletal examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Dr.Vikas Shahis a Consultant Radiologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester. He has taught abdominal and emergency imaging at several national and international courses, including the Radiopaedia Emergency Abdominal Imaging course. He has a particular passion for delivering radiology education using social media and new technology. Outside of work, Vikas is kept busy by his young children and is slowly mastering the art of Lego!

Dr. Miranda Siemienowiczoriginally trained as a Radiologist at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She went on to complete a Thoracic Imaging Fellowship at the Toronto General Hospital in Canada, the world pioneeringcenterforsingleand double lung transplant. She is now based at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, the largest lung transplant hospital in the southern hemisphere, and also works privately with Medical Imaging Australia. She has multiple thoracic imaging publications, including in interstitial lung disease and transthoracic needle biopsy of the lung.

Dr. Alexandra Stanislavskyis a Consultant Radiologist with Monash Health and Monash BreastScreen. After graduating from Melbourne University in 2004, she completed her radiology training and an MRI Fellowship at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Alexandra undertook further fellowships in women's imaging at the Royal Women's Hospital and in breast imaging with BreastScreen. She is passionate about teaching and has enjoyed ongoing editorial involvement with Radiopaedia.org since 2010. She is an Associate Editor for theAustralian Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine (AJUM).
